Ernest C. Trevino

With 30 years of experience across municipal, state and federal service and training, Ernest C. Trevino has lived the realities most people only read about. He has survived seven officer-involved shootings and the Atascosa ambush — and turned those experiences into lessons that save lives.

Ernest is a recognized leader in active shooter threats and threat assessments, teaching students, educators, employees and officers how to recognize danger early, make fast decisions and survive.

He holds an MBA in Business Administration with a focus in Operations Management and completed Harvard edX leadership training — pairing frontline experience with the planning skills needed to implement scenario training, safe zones and preparedness programs inside police and school police departments.
